In the context of implementing the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka program, the Ministry of Education and Culture’s Directorate General of Higher Education (Ditjen Dikti) designed the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) program. This program allows undergraduate students in semesters 4 to 7 in universities within the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture who are eligible to study for one semester (about 16 weeks) at overseas partner universities.
The Indonesian Student International Mobility Program itself aims to facilitate Indonesian students to gain knowledge and skills, exchange ideas and culture, and build networks with fellow students, academics, and the international community at universities abroad. From the results of this IISMA, students who pass will be included at the Ministry of Education and Culture level and compete with all students in Indonesia.
